BOSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL SUMMER SPORTS TOUR

Chestnut Homes sponsor the Boston Borough Council Summer Sports Tour. The Boston Summer Sports Tour has been running for six years and was launched with the aim of providing young people with a multitude of sporting and recreational activities during the school summer holidays at a very minimal cost.

The summer sports tour provides a free booklet for each school age child to take home. Last year booklets were distributed throughout the Borough, which advertised over 20 different sporting activities.

Nearly 5,000 young people took part last summer in a multitude of sports as varied as angling, sub Aqua, girls football, tennis and many more activities throughout the Borough of Boston.

FITC staff have been providing the activities for the tour this year to the surrounding villages of Wrangle, Old Leake, Benington, Freiston, Fishtoft, Wyberton, Kirton, Swineshead, Fosdyke and Bicker.

Our coaches have been providing fun games and activities and to allow children to access a whole range of different sports in the convenience of their own village.
